63rd Annual Grubstake Day Community Fair

Because of construction planned near the Yucca Valley Community Center, this years event will be centered around the Hi-Desert Boys and Girls Club, the Tri-Valley Little League fields and Brehm Sports Park on Little League Drive in Yucca Valley between Palm and Grand Avenues, North of State Route 62. This years event will be bigger and better, bringing in new partners, more events, and marking the opening of the Miracle League Park, designed for the disabled to play team and individual sports.

Events Include:
10AM Y.V. Chamber sponsors the annual Parade
10AM-3PM An indoor Home And Craft Fair sponsored by The Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce inside the Boys and Girls Club Building
11AM-5PM The outside Community Fair with continuous live entertainment on the stage in front of the Boys and Girls Club. Food booths, a dunk tank, Gold Panning, Duck Pond, Snack Walk, Watermelon eating contest, Sack and 3-legged races, Horseshoe Tournament and the traditional Beard contest. Also a display and demonstration of mining history, a light-hearted competition between local Police and Firefighters with a softball tourney, static display of historic tractors, law enforcement displays, and a live radio broadcast.

10:00 – 11:00: Z107.Z Mobile DJ.
11:00 – 11:15: Kayla’s Little Dance Academy
11:15 – 11:30: “Mini Mascot” dance team.
11:30 - 12:00: Town of Yucca Valley Beard contest.
12:00 - 12:30: Miracle League Opening Ceremonies
12:30 - 1:00: Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce Parade awards
1:00 - 2:00 “Blackwater”, local Classic rock cover band
2:00 - 3:00: Headliner, Dana Larson
3:00 - 4:00: Joel Daniel, MarineSandpiper (Rock Bagpiper)
